By installing or using Smart History Cleaner ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Extension.
2. Description of Service
Smart History Cleaner is a Chrome browser extension that provides privacy features including automatic browsing history deletion, cookie management, data breach alerts, and privacy scoring. The Extension is available in a free version and a Pro (paid) version.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
- • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Extension
- • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- • Sell, resell, or sublicense the Extension
- • Use the Extension for illegal purposes
4. Pro Subscription
The Pro version requires a paid subscription. By subscribing to Pro, you agree to the following:
- • Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected
- • You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
- • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers
- • Prices may change with 30 days' notice
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all Pro subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Pro features, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Extension is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. You use the Extension at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension.
8. Important Notice Regarding Data Deletion
⚠️ Warning
Smart History Cleaner permanently deletes browsing data. While the Trash System provides a recovery window (7 days for Free, 30 days for Pro), data deleted beyond this period cannot be recovered. Use the Extension responsibly. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from the Extension's operation.
9. Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. Your continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Extension shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
